Yeraldin

Yeraldin Crespo Valle is a first-generation Latina with roots in Guerrero, Mexico. She and her parents moved to California when she was just two years old, eventually settling in the small agricultural town of Lompoc on the Central Coast. Growing up in a working-class immigrant household, Yeraldin witnessed firsthand the sacrifices her parents made to provide a better future for her and her siblings. Their strength and perseverance continue to motivate her, fueling both her personal ambitions and her deep desire to uplift her community.

Yeraldin moved to San Francisco to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Management at San Francisco State University. As a Latina in the tech industry, she is committed to increasing representation in spaces where her community has historically been underrepresented. With a passion for equity and impact, Yeraldin hopes to use her technical skills to create accessible programs and digital tools that provide resources to underserved and immigrant communities.

As a DreamSF fellow, Yeraldin is placed at The Women’s Building, where she contributes to supporting the community through their programs and services. Yeraldin is passionate about helping others and is focused on gaining practical experience in non-profit work while building skills that will support her future career goals.

In her free time, Yeraldin enjoys shopping, reading, and exploring San Francisco. She also loves teaching herself new skills, learning new coding languages, and working on personal projects, like websites.
