Edgar Perez Aparicio

This is some text inside of a div block.

Edgar Perez Aparicio was born in Puebla, Mexico. Edgar was very motivated to go to school in Mexico, however, his parents could not afford books and uniforms for school. Edgar’s parents dreamed of giving him a good education so they decided to migrate to the United States when Edgar was five years old. When Edgar and his parents arrived in the United States, they struggled to fit in with a new culture and language, but they were determined to create a better life.

After graduating from high school, Edgar became the first person in his family to attend college when he enrolled at Canada Community College. During his first year there, Edgar was very involved on campus. He volunteered as treasurer and liaison for the Canada Dreamers Club as well as the Canada Latinx Club. There, he was able to develop teamwork and social skills. Edgar is currently pursuing a transfer degree as a business major.

Edgar hopes to continue building a network with immigrant organizations. This network would assist and motivate him to give back to his community and immigrant families like his own. In the future, Edgar aspires to be a successful entrepreneur and invest in real estate.

Edgar enjoys watching mixed martial arts and boxing in his free time. He also likes to coach soccer.
