Lizet Gonzalez Palma

Lizet Gonzalez Palma was born in Acapulco Guerrero, Mexico she emigrated to the United States at five years old. Lizet is an incoming sophomore at San Francisco State University. She is currently working on her Criminal Justice major and would like to go to Law school in the future. She is unsure of what kind of law she wants to learn.

As a first-generation college student, she participated in College Track and Juma Ventures during High school that provided her with resources and the help to attend a 4-year University. Juma Ventures also gave her the opportunity to gain her first job and get job experience. These college preparedness programs gave her skills she is able to use.

Lizet Gonzalez Palma Dream SF fellowship placement is at La Raza Community Resource Center. She helps out with filling out Applications such as DACA application and is learning some of the in's and outs of the requirements for a naturalization application. She is a sponge and would like to learn more about what is going on in the immigrant community as she believes there so much to learn.
