Meet the Fellows

Dalia L. Nava

Dalia L. Nava was proudly born in Jalisco, Mexico and migrated to Los Angeles, California age of 7. Dalia is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of California, Berkeley and works for the East Bay Community Law Center.

Dalia has experience working with both government agencies and nonprofits, where she was able to gain firsthand experience and knowledge into the critical role that these spaces play in immigrant communities. Dalia has long been a public servant and hopes to continue her passion of advocating and serving immigrants through the DreamSF Fellowship. For her fellowship, Dalia was placed at Pangea Legal Services which provides direct legal representation, especially in the area of deportation defense.

Dalia is working toward becoming a better advocate to her immigrant community, aspiring to create change by being well informed and continuing to provide direct services to people.
